Bay (Laurus Nobilis) Care

The Bay (Laurus Nobilis) can withstand temperatures down to -5°c. They prefer a full sun or lightly shaded position and should be protected from strong winds. Use a John Innes number 2 compost with 10-20% added horticultural grit when repotting. Feed regularly throughout late spring and summer with a liquid phostrogen fertilizer and water regularly in hot or dry periods. Bays will not react well to being waterlogged.
